Contract Machining

Precision contract machining has been in ALAR's DNA since 1977. Every external project is managed with the same rigorous quality control and ISO 9001:2015 traceability as our own products. Simply submit your drawings in STEP, PDF, or DWG format. Our technical team—backed by decades of hands-on experience—will provide a comprehensive engineering assessment and quote, ensuring your project is feasible and optimized for production.

Milling

Our CNC machining centres feature X-axis travel up to 5 meters. We machine complex geometries while strictly adhering to the tolerances defined in the customer’s technical specifications.

Turning

High-precision turning for components up to Ø 260 mm x 1000 mm in length. We specialize in the production of pins, shafts, bushings, and joints, as well as gear blanking. Our capabilities extend to full gear manufacturing, including gear cutting (teeth) and specialized heat treatments.

Welded Assemblies & Fabrications

We specialize in high-precision welding using rotary welding tables. Our fully integrated service includes Welding & Stress Relieving (Normalization), Sandblasting & Surface Preparation, Precision Machining and Industrial Painting & Finishing. We deliver complete, ready-to-install welded products according to your specifications.

Treatments & Finishes

Our manufacturing process includes heat treatments and final painting managed by trusted, long-standing partners. By combining our internal machining expertise with specialized external finishing, we guarantee superior durability and performance for every component.

TECHNICAL FAQs

What is required for a technical proposal?

To provide an accurate quote, we require your drawings in STEP, PDF, or DWG format, along with material specifications, critical tolerances, and the required quantities. This data allows us to define the optimal production cycle, necessary tooling, and precise lead times. If essential information is missing, we will request it before quoting; we believe in providing realistic proposals rather than underestimating costs just to win an order.

Do you handle single prototypes or only production batches?

Both. Our facility is structured for maximum flexibility, allowing us to manage everything from one-off prototypes to small-batch production without compromising our rigorous quality standards. For recurring production runs, we develop optimized machining cycles and dedicated tooling beginning with the very first sample.

What materials do you work with?

We work with a wide range of metals, including carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and aluminum. For specialized or certified grades—such as steels for corrosive environments, extreme temperatures, or food-grade applications—we perform a feasibility assessment during the quoting phase to ensure full compliance with your technical requirements.

Do you provide heat treatments and surface finishes?

Yes. We manage all heat treatments and surface finishes through a network of qualified, ALAR-vetted subcontractors. You receive a fully finished component, ready for assembly, eliminating the need for you to manage the logistics between machining and specialized finishing.

Are your manufactured components tracked and documented?

Yes. We utilize a fully digitized production management system that provides real-time progress monitoring and dimensional verification at every stage of manufacturing. All traceability protocols are strictly governed by our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) can be issued upon request.

Do you have a drawing to work on?

Send photo or code: quick technical identification, without intermediate steps.
